Sharon's just wrapped up recording her new audiobook 'Disability Is Not About You' in our Melbourne studio.
Sharon's passionate about working in the disability sector. Her business, Ability B4 Disability a Not-For-Profit, providing counselling and social coaching for people with a disability.
Ability B4 Disability is a NDIS registered provider and Sharon's organisation was founded as an answer to the feedback from many people with a disability who wanted a safe place to socialise after hours in the Albury Wodonga area.
Sharon discusses how and why she got into the field of caring for people with a disability, how much she loves her job, why she wrote her book and gives tips why you should or shouldn't work in the disability sector...
